This equipment allows us access to out of the way places without the need to scaffold and with trained personnel provides a safe working environment for other trades. The yard uses it extensively for maintenance of slipway structures as well access to masts and difficult areas on ship structures. The machine has a maximum working platform height of 30m and a maximum lateral reach of 10m. It is self propelled and can be transported easily to virtually any location on Island. All operators are trained to CITB level.
